Statement of Conscience

“As horse breeder of conscience, with a deep abiding love and respect for horses, we hereby commit to responsible breeding of only the number and quality of horses for which we have a quality customer base that will provide the care and life which my horses deserve. We will sell only with a contract that commits to having done quality breeding and care, and that offers lifetime support to help any of our customers if circumstances require that they need help to rehome their horses. In our contract, we will require that no horses coming from our breeding program shall be allowed to be auctioned or slaughtered without first contacting us, under penalty of potential legal action by us. We will maintain open access and relations of support to our customers with the expectation that they will come to us if their horse is needing our support. If there are behavior problems, we will support our customers with advice and training. We will keep an eye out for horses that have been bred out of our stallions, even if not bred from our own mares, and help any owners of these horses with aftercare if their circumstances require support. We will support horse rescues and work with them, especially horse rescues devoted to our breed of horses. We will provide a forever home to our own breeding animals on our premises, or place them in forever homes. They will never be sent by us to auction or to slaughter. This is our promise.”

Lark Deco (AQHA)

Deco is a 15'2hh appendix-bred AQHA mare by Rugged Lark out of Thoroughbred mare Sail Home Again (Forward Charger x Sailing Pockette).
The indomitable Rugged Lark was an incredible stallion and producer. He enjoyed an illustrious show career, winning major awards in nine different events. In 1985, as a Junior Horse, Rugged Lark won the coveted Super Horse title at the American Quarter Horse Association World Show crossing over from Western to English disciplines. He repeated this feat in 1987. Rugged Lark became the only Super Horse to produce a Super Horse when his four-year-old, The Lark Ascending, became the 1991 winner of this title. In 1993, Regal Lark, another son, was named Reserve Super Horse and in 1999 Rugged Lark once again sired a Super Horse named Look Whos Larkin. See Bo-Bett Farm for more on Lark and his incredible get!
We purchased Deco from Bo-Bett Farm after losing our sweet Larks of Luck mare. We were extremely pleased with that outcross and look forward to more!

FC Minuet

We are proud to welcome Minuet to our family!  Born around midnight, 2/25/2011 - bay filly with a huge star and strip, and a left hind stocking.  We couldn't have asked for a sweeter soul!

Pedigree highlights include triple Bask, triple Aladdinn, triple Fadjur, double Amerigo, triple Raffles, and triple Fadheilan!

This is a gorgeous sabino bay filly, featuring body roaning and 'silver bay' mane, tail, and points. Color tested Ee, so she is genetically bay. She is granddaughter to Ravvens Jafar (Salon, Ray Dor Echo), well known for his fancy movers, kind personalities, and beautiful heads. Minuet's sire, Fads Chance, is by a line-bred Fadjur stallion out of a Latest Edition/Exceladdinn/Strike mare (featuring champions in western pleasure, halter, english pleasure, performance and futurity), and a producer of very tractable, personable, typey foals.

Very handleable with a great mind. Big, kind, exotic eyes; typey head; tons of flashy movement. Stellar trot. This is an exquisite prospect to raise and show in any direction! Should mature near 15H.

Layal and Minuet both have been sold to an endurance home in Georgia! Can't wait to watch their progress as they mature!
